What Ratevane is

Ratevane shows the prices Barbados hotels publish on their own booking websites, so a hotel can compare its prices with similar hotels nearby. It is a pilot service, provided as it is.

Where the prices come from

Every morning we check each hotel's public booking page for 2 adults and record the prices shown to any member of the public. We don't sign in to any hotel's systems and we don't use private or confidential rates.

Accuracy

We work hard to get the numbers right, and hide any we can't confirm, but booking websites change and prices can be missing, late or wrong. Check a hotel's own website before relying on a price, and use the suggestions on Ratevane as a guide, not advice. We aren't responsible for pricing decisions made using it.

Your login

Your login and private link are for you and your team only. Please don't share them outside your hotel. We can switch off access at any time, for example if a login is shared or the pilot ends.

What we record about you

To improve Ratevane we record how the pages are used: which pages you open, how long you stay, how far you scroll, and where on the page you move and click. This is linked to your login and seen only by the Ratevane team. We also keep your name, username and when you last signed in. If you ask for access, we keep what you put in the form so we can reply.

We don't sell this information or share it with other hotels. We keep it for as long as you have access, and delete it on request.
